Into the Sunset then down
It’s been a few days past a year since I left Seattle. Some folks have asked why I left and what happened to my photography. I left to pursue an opportunity in real estate. I’ve completed three projects in that time and I’m over half way through a fourth. In short, I’m flipping properties. As for photography I’ve pretty much put it on the back burner. I didn’t really have the work ethic or perseverance to try to make a go of it as a professional. I don’t think I’m done with it altogether. The coals are still hot but right now there’s just no fuel for fire. I’ve turned into more of a student and a lurker. I’m still looking at work and reading some of the popular blogs. I haven’t completely turned my back on my art. We’re just seeing other people right now.
As for Seattle, I moved back there once already but after a visit in June I realized it’s not my town. I had some wonderful experiences there and met some great people. I’m terrible about keeping in touch but you should know that my friends and acquaintances are still close to my heart. Although I may not say much, I do follow you on Facebook, Twitter, and Flicker. I wish you all the best and many happy, rewarding experiences. Hopefully we’ll cross paths somewhere down the road.
